The first point was set for the Argentinian pairCristian Ozan and Mariano Lasaigues, winning 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) against the Brazilian pair Stefano Flores andLucas Campagnolo. However, for the second point, the open tournamentfinalists Gustavo Pratto and Gonzalo Diaz from Argentina had to face the Brazilian world champions, GervasioJulianotti Bond and Julio who repeated to triumph with 6-1 and 6-4, to even the score.
