On Saturday October 19, the Spanish padel team won the double with the title of World Champion 2019 in the World Cup for Minors in Castellón (Spain), both in the modality by teams and couples.

Champions by selections

Our boys from the Varlion Junior Team (Alex Arroyo, Eduardo Alonso, Miguel Yanguas and Beatriz Caldera) played an indispensable role in achieving the group title.

On the one hand, Alex Arroyo and Miguel Yanguas gave the finishing touch against the Argentine national team with a 6-2 / 6-1 result in the final match.

And in the women’s category, Bea Caldera and her partner Bea González won a resounding victory with a 6-1 / 6-0 on the scoreboard against Macarena Prieto and Elena Forasteiro.

Champions in pairs

The men’s championship final in pairs had four Spanish protagonists, among which were our boys Alex Arroyo and Edu Alonso, who won 2-6 / 6-4 / 7-6 to Iker del Valle and Enrique Goenaga.

And, on the other hand, the women’s final was also starred by the Beas, who proclaimed themselves champions after winning 6-3 / 6-2 to the duo formed by Eugenia Guimet and Marta Quevedo.

We are proud of this piece of equipment that has given everything to the end and has not stopped until it has the gold medal in its hands. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the VARLION TEAM!
