27 Feb The Varlion Junior Team starts the season hard

 

Edu Alonso, Alex Arroyo, Arturo Coello, Enrique Goenaga and Carmen Goenaga are champions of the Valladolid’s TyC Premium 1.

 

The season has started with very good feelings for the Varlion Junior Team.

 

This weekend the first TyC Premium 1 tournament was held in Valladolid, and the effort and dedication of our players has been reflected in the results.

 

In the Junior category, after an intense weekend, Alex Arroyo and Edu Alonso managed to win the trophy of champions. After their good game in the previous rounds, they managed to reach the final in which they beat another of our young promises, Miguel Yanguas, along with his teammate Iván Ramírez, in three sets with a result of 6-7 / 6-1 / 6-2.

 

The same happened with Arturo Coello and Enrique Goenaga, who won the final of Cadet category of the tournament to Amondarain-Marqués by 6-4 / 2-6 / 6-4 and get the title of champions.

 

The women’s team of the Varlion Junior Team also achieved success in Valladolid thanks to Carmen Goenaga in the Cadet category. The player won the title of champion along with her partner M. Martínez after winning 6-2 / 6-4 against P. Del Barrio and M.Besga.

 

Finally, it should be noted the great performance of Víctor Tur and Pepe Aliaga to be runners-up in the Children’s category after their confrontation with the couple P.Hernández-P.Cardona with a result of 6-4 / 6-4.
