Jon Sanz Runner-up in Valencia

Jon Sanz played his first World Padel Tour final in Valencia this Sunday

It was seen coming and it has finally happened. This weekend Jon Sanz has managed to get into his first final of a World Padel Tour Open in Valencia. The player from Pamplona had reached the semifinals in the last two tournaments held in Toulouse and Valladolid, so he only needed one more step to continue building his history on the padel courts.

jon-sanzThe road has not been easy. Jon Sanz has had to face great rivals along the way, among which the number 1 in the ranking stand out; however, the Varlion Pro Team player scored a great game in the semifinals to prevail over a duo that has been intractable this season.

Despite losing in the first set, the couple formed by Sanz and Galán managed to reverse the score by signing an epic comeback with the last two very even sets. The match ended with 3/6, 7/6 and 6/4 and with a ball that Jon took off the court to celebrate a success that we are sure will be repeated many times in the future.

The final was the farewell to the couple made up of Jon Sanz and Ale Galán. Both faced two players who have shown great form: Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno. The match this time went the other way with a result of 6/3 and 6/3, but we are confident that Jon will win his first title soon. Meanwhile, let’s celebrate the Runner-up at the Adeslas València Open 2023 and enjoy some of the best actions of our player and his Maxima Summum Prisma Airflow during the tournament:
