FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – COPA ENTREPRENEURS

The Entrepreneurs’ Cup is the first amateur competition in the polo world in which directors and company owners take part in representation of their own companies. During the third edition twelve companies from Argentina and two foreign ones could participate and have the chance to combine sport with business at one of the fourth most important fields in the world. Among teams which have confirmed their participation so far , we can mention Escorihuela Gascón and Nervous Waters, who had been champions respectively during the previous edition and it is worth mentioning Culu Culu /Standard Bank among new participants.

Some of the most important entrepreneurs of worldwide renown attended this event such as: José Eduardo Kalil (Brazil), Albert Alltezahuser (South Africa), Johan Roets (South Africa), Ernesto Catena, José Sanmartino, Julio Saguier, Tony Lanusse, Gonzalo Navarro, Juan Carlos Echeverz, Alberto Hamonet, Federico Agardy, Guillermo Steta (Mexico), y Miguel Pando Soldati, among other ones.

A percentage of the tournament takings were donated to Damas Rosadas for the San Isidro Hospital for Children and Motherhood. The tournament ended by a gala dinner at the Jockey Club premises.

Culu culu Polo Lifestyle Resort: the touristic Resort /residence of Lobos (Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina) was the main sponsor of the third edition of this polo tournament: the Entrepreneurs’ Cup which took place from 26 November to 7 December at the San Isidoro Jockey Club.
