The temperature rises, we lose control and crash the ball on the glass in front of us… The temperature drops and the ball doesn’t come out…
For years, in addition to being the only brand on the market with PREMIUM rackets manufactured in Europe, Varlion has an additional differentiating element which are the different materials used so that each model of racket behaves in the same way regardless of the weather conditions of play, offering the same racket with two different hardnesses (cores). Thus we have the Winter for use below 20/25ºC and the Summer for use above 25ºC. As a novelty in the 2024 Collection, the Premium blades of the Summer model will be recognisable by the red colour of its rubber, which also gives it a very special aesthetic difference. The Winter blades still have the classic black colour to differentiate them. In the competition’s rackets we see how the changes in temperature force the player to adapt to a racket with less control and that gives off more power in order to be able to play with a higher ambient temperature. This does not happen in Varlion, as they manufacture two equal and at the same time different bats, which allows the player not to have to modify his game whether he is on a court with 18ºC or in another one with 26/27ºC.
With the new concept, this problem comes to an end. The new blades of the Premium Range have enough technical differences in their construction so that, depending on the ambient temperature, we can use a specific blade model for high or low temperature.
