REGALIA FINISHED IN THE TOP AT THE HUNGARIAN COLLECTIVE TEST

The ART Grand Prix driver was the fastest on Friday with a best lap of 1:32.341 that not only was the best of the day but also on the cumulative ranking of the week. Regalia was four tenths faster than the second driver in the timesheets and for second successive day, the best representative of the French team of Frédéric Vasseur.

“It was a very positive day. The balance of the car was severly improved in comparision with Barcelona. The lap I did in the morning was almost perfect, and the car performed very well. Just a fact, my second fastest lap was very close to my fastest one, so it proves we managed to exploit our Pirelli tires and that is good news, “said Regalia. “It was raining in the afternoon, just like yesterday, and it changed our programme because we were expecting to do two race simulations. But the track was almost flooded and to continue in that way was imposible”, but Regalia was focusing on positvive facts; “my car is more compatitive now than in Barcelona, so I am eager to approach my second meeting in Valencia and improve on the bad start I have had to the season. My family, friends and fans will be there to back me up so I want to have good results. It is going to be a long wait.”

Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Spain) will be visited by GP3 next week, on 15-16 June.
