F1: FIRST PRACTICE SESON IN BAHRAIN

The preseason testing for Formula 1 started at the Bahrain International Circuit last week.

Sahara Force India and its two drivers, Nico Hülkenberg and Checo Pérez, completed their first testing sessions throughout the week and they were closed in a very positive way and achieving satisfactory findings on next season.

Nico Hülkenberg set the fastest time (P1) overall on day one, and then was 6th quickest on the penultimate test day taking place on Saturday.
“We managed to do many laps today, what is good, and for third day in-a-row we completed more than a hundred laps. When I drove the car for first time in the morning, I realized how the team was able to made progress since last week, so it proves we´re working on the right track. Track conditions were quite tricky due to the strong gusts of wind. But otherwise it was a great day and my feelings about the car are quite good”.

On the other hand, Sergio Pérez was on top of the rankings during the final two days, on February 27-28.
“It is great to have this kind of day after completing many laps. It was my last time in the car until Melbourne and I have positive feelings about how the preseason goes. Our set-up was very useful, as we tested different solutions to approach the season opener. Everything went according to our plan”.
