And on Sunday 5th of November… another victory for Facu Regalia

Facu Regalia couldn´t improve any more his end of season in the European F3 Open, because in the same way as Saturday he won at Circuit de Catalunya. Argentina´s driver, in the morning, set the pole position time no less than three tenths faster than anyone else and his target was to claim his third victory the current season. And he did it. Despite the light rain at the beginning, Regalia pitted on lap one for wet tires. It was the only moment not on top. Shortly after he was 1st again and, even a safety car period aborting his twenty-three seconds gap, the Argentine driver managed to win for second time in a row.
“It was an incredible weekend. From Thursday on we were on top places, also on Friday and we were able to start on front row for Saturday´s race, winning later. Today even better, taking the pole position time”, the Argentine driver said. In addition he added that “the race had difficult moments at the beginning, but our pit stop was pretty good on lap one. Unfortunately the safety car period frustrated my gap and maybe a more clear victory would have been possible. This result is fantastic, I can´t imagine a best way to finish the season. Of course this success is for my family and friends supporting me in Barcelona, also for my sponsors and team, Campos Racing, and for everyone in Argentina. I feel very happy. This kind of weekend was a sort of dream for me and, at the end, we got it”.
From now on, Regalia needs to focus on his schedule for 2013, when he will try to compete in the GP2.
